Steep Ravine Trail

This is a beautiful, lush green and mostly shady day hike. We will start at the top near the ranger station. To get to Steep Ravine Trail we will first take an Old Mine trail then we will connect to Dipsea Trail. We will continue on the Dipsea Trail for awhile with a lovely ocean view, then the trail takes you into the tall red wood trees where the sunlight is barely seen. Before we connect to the Steep Ravine Trail we will take some steps down and cross a creek on the bridge. Steep Ravine Trail will take us back to the top where we started through lash green plantation that will make you feel like you are in the rain forest. Trail will continue following a small creek and crossing the creek by the old wooden bridges. This is a moderate hike 3.7 miles loop which will take about 3 hours to complete. See you on the trail !!
